WHAT DO WE DO?
ASSESSMENTS – EPC. If you sell or rent a property you are legally obliged to have an Energy Performance Certificate (apart from a few exceptions). The EPC gives you a rating of the energy efficiency of your home based on the fabric, heating and insulation characteristics and a potential of what it could reach with some added measures. You also need a valid EPC if you want to claim the Feed in Tariff (FiT) after installing solar photovoltaic panels. You can only claim the higher rate of FiT if your home is an EPC rating of D or above. We can undertake domestic energy assesments for you – all you need to do is call or email using the contact details at the top of the page.
RENEWABLE ENERGY INSTALLATION. G&P will help you by installing a renewable energy package to suit your needs whether it is for domestic properties, farms, estates or businesses. We focus on heat pumps but can help out if you have an interest in Solar systems (PV or hot water) or wind turbines. We have a growing network of experienced trades to ensure every installation conforms to current regulations. We are members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) and on the verge of becoming certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) which means you can claim Governement funding through the Feed in Tariff (FiT) and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
